My Thoughts

Thursday, December 17, 2009

I'm back from Philippines and am down with flu and a hoarse voice.

Went to changi airport to finish up affirmation for tuao mission trip. and also to send jun ning off.

after tat was kinda like a bad day. but God did answer my prayers...

i was fired =)

sad cos i cant teach the girl anymore. she's super sweet... and she doesnt noe today's my last day, cos the mum juz told me "today will be the last day"
and so.... wad can i say?
not tat i din do my duty to teach or guide her daughter in learning... not tat i din put in effort to give replacement lessons. hello i'm sick u noe... and i still came, but she forgot abt todays lesson and still can say i didn't tell her.

i have witness to back me up that i did tell her... and guess wad, wud be good if i had saved the sms... but i cleared my outbox cos my phone had low memory =.=

anyways... its a part of my life that i wish to forget...

i guess it wud be good also... i can focus on one student, and on myself as a student doing my own ABRSM dip and degree in school..

i hope i can really say Thank God for taking out from this misery. like really WHOLEHEARTEDLY
cos i asked for it.

i need someone to tell me,
1. i'm not useless
2. i'm good at playing piano
3. i'm good at teaching
4. i give honest, professional advice, to ppl who want to hear

super pissed, angry and frustrated with _________

i think time will come soon, when i drop _________

then i can focus on my studies and really give my time to mission trips and all

pissed off... no replies no nothing yet. i really dunno how it's gonna be... whether i'd still will be teaching _______

totally cried out of anger that such a person exists...
if u dun trust me, that i'm doing my best in teaching... then please go find another teacher. spare me the misery of being looked down upon, spare me the anxiousness of receiving smses which say nothing but hurtful things.

wad to do... i only can 忍 hopefully i get fired soon.

The moon one circle;
star numberless;
sky dark green.

Masaoka Shiki
(1867-1902)

My Night Pieces, apart from Stars, were first performed at the 1971 Festival of Perth, for which they were written. The opening bracket of pieces is based on a Japanese concept known as setsugekka, which means, literally, "snow, moon and flowers". This concept is concerned with metamorphosis: moonlight, for instance, may make snow of flowers, and flowers of snow; and the moon itself may be viewed as an enormous snowflake or a giant white flower.

The music of those three pieces, and of Stars, is concerned with transformations of similar harmonic an motivic structures. Night, on the other hand, is a free transcription of a part of my orchestral work Sun Music I (1965). It is related to the other pieces in its gong-like punctuation and its harmnoic usage.

Snow, Moon and Flowers is dedicated to Michael Hannan, Night to Anne Boyd and Stars to Peter Kenny.

The above is taken from Peter Sculthorpe's book.
And i totally have no idea wad it means =P
